PARTY GIRLS - March 2011

Once again you three managed to delight, entertain and highly amuse us with your 'three women show'. Six of us went last evening to the Hornby Working Men’s Club (to follow up what we saw in 'Grumpy Old Women') and we certainly were well aware the difficulties you must have been working under, especially after what the James Hay Theatre would have had to offer. But you delivered! Fantastic night, lots of laughs and we all came away questioning our voting responsibilities!!?? Keep it up Pinky, Geraldine and Lyndee, you brightened up (our rather desperate at the moment) lives.

PARTY GIRLS - April 2011

With the warmth of a spontaneous standing ovation, Party Girls wound up their 30-night tour of New Zealand in the Civic theatre in Invercargill on Saturday night. The quips were quick and the moves fast. The audience loved The Pinny Party, with its hark back to another age. We wept tears of laughter at the finale, the pinnies in marching girl, tartan-topping, sturdy winter-white legs in white marching boots to the instantly recognised Invercargill March. It was a night to remember.

GRUMPY OLD WOMEN – MARCH 2010

Unbiased review from Oamaru show. Sixteen stars out of five. Super, fab and groovy. So funny.

Pinky Pops In, and Pinky’s Poems

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy and look forward to your Wednesday poem section of the Justin DuFresne show on Newstalk ZB! What a real treasure you are for us Wellingtonians, and how fortunate we are to have you on Newstalk ZB. Many thanks for spicing up and enriching our lives the way you do!

BOOKS:

I wanted to write and thank you for the help your book ‘Lifesongs’ has given me. My brother died very unexpectedly in January. I rang my minister and when he visited he left me to read your book. I sat and read the section Funerals and Farewells. I read it out loud and gained great comfort from it. Thank you for helping me.
